Childrens Wear Project - Pastel Princess

 

This board is my Mood board/ customer profile board for my autumn/winter children’s wear project which was just an illustration project. On my board it has the market levels that I was working at which was designer, my colour scheme - pastels and the customer that I was designing for which was girls age 6-10. It also has my blue, purple and pink diamond print on which was inspired by a carousel that I took a picture of in Blackpool.

 

 

My children’s wear collection is called Pastel Princess to tie in with my colour scheme.  I made four design boards with the total amount of ten designs. Eight chosen designs and two final designs. This one is my favourite because I feel it represents my collection really well. I have used medias such as pastels, gouache, watercolour, pencils, pro markers and pastel pencils all blended together on each design to create definition. I chose to design coats, warm dresses, skirts and leggings. All the warm cosy things you would want your child to wear in the winter.
