Swinging Sixties Mood board & chosen designs

This is my mood board for our white shirt project. We were told to choose a theme of our choice and we had to find inspiration and research to create a white shirt using only WHITE cotton. I chose the “Swinging Sixties” as it was huge on trend that season so my ideas and inspiration flowed really well and I was able to gather plenty of primary and secondary research to inspire my designs.

We had to create fifteen designs in our sketchbook and choose a selection of nine and put them on to Design boards. I have chosen to this one as they are my favourite out of the whole nine. My boards are inspired by the FAMOUS Mary Quant print which I interpreted onto my boards. The media I have used on these illustrations are Pro Markers, gouache, acrylic paint, watercolour and fine liner. I choose to use various Medias as I like to create texture and effective designs.
